How long is the workshop if I purchase the digital download and what do I get out of it?
The workshop is broken up into 4 sections, one section for each pillar and each section takes approximately 30 minutes of instruction. We suggest you take the workshop in its entirety first and then move onto the workbook. Alternatively you could complete it by section and then complete the accompanying workbook section after each Pillar. If you are planning to complete the workbook in one sitting, we suggest you allocate a minimum of 2 hours to complete the workbook.
Through the workshop you will learn the 4 Pillars System to develop your own framework for a personalized divorce plan. We will give you clear steps in defining your vision, understanding your finances, tools and strategies for communication and building out your support systems. This will ensure you can apply the knowledge you learn to your unique circumstances. Many elements of this plan will apply long after your divorce is final in building a new future for you and your family.
What do I get with the digital download workshop option?
The digital download is a great starting point product for everyone to begin the process and build their divorce plan. It can be used for anyone who is either already in the process and feeling stuck or someone who just initiated their separation or divorce. One of my goals is to ensure that support is affordable and this option guarantees that it is accessible for everyone! It does not include additional support through email or virtual 1:1 meetings but you are able to add individual hourly coaching sessions should you want them.
What do I get with the 4 hour Virtual Workshop?
This workshop is for anyone looking to have more one on one time with me, the opportunity to ask specific questions and to have a more connected delivery of the workshop material itself. These options are available in a group setting, both virtually and in person, where I will walk you through each Pillar and we can address how it relates specifically to your circumstances.
What if my divorce is high conflict - is this still suitable for me?
Having my own personal experience with a high conflict divorce I understand the unique challenges you face and can tell you that this workshop will save you time and energy in developing the skills and strategies you need! This workshop can be applied to any family facing a separation or divorce.
What is a divorce Plan?
A strategy that looks at the key areas (The ‘4 Pillars’) you need to consider in building a framework for how you will address all aspects of your life as it relates and adjusts to the various periods of separation and divorce. This system defines each Pillar, identifies how it is impacted by divorce, what you need to consider and then specific tools and strategies you can use, tailored to your unique circumstances, that ALL together create your divorce plan.
My divorce is going ok and we seem to be cordial, why would I need this workshop?
Even the most amicable divorce is not without its moments! Remember, the best guide is the one who has travelled the path already.
We are all human and endings and transitions are not easy, even if it’s what we want or know is best. Invest in a workshop that guides you through strategies that apply to anyone on this journey and how you can show up best for yourself, your co parent and your family.
How do I find a job that helps me balance work and family life?
As someone who supported my family through the first half of my marriage and then took a turn at being at home and then back to work part time and full time post divorce, I can attest to how challenging it can feel to find a job that provides the right balance. I can also attest to the fact that amazing and flexible employers are out there and willing to work with on finding it! Ask me how we can work together to support you in moving in the right direction in this area.
Do you give legal advice?
I am not a lawyer! I will never give you legal advice and in my opinion, lawyers can be a critically important part of the process when understood how they best serve you. However, you might be surprised to hear about my take on lawyers and the strategies I provide on how to approach this aspect of divorce because in my opinion lawyers are tools and not solutions. They are best used to implement a strategy based on you knowing exactly where you want to go. You must lead them and not the other way around.
We have just decided to separate and still working through the details, when should I take this workshop?
The sooner the better! In my experience, things can be most challenging a bit further on around the schedules and financial components, but the reality is we need information and strategies right away in order to move through this journey in an informed way and prepare ourselves for the complexities to come. Also, this information in this workshop will be useful long after your divorce is finalized!
